We have been working on fractions, decimals and percentages. We have been looking at finding equivalent fractions, simplify fractions and using mixed numbers. Some people have been working on adding and subtracting fractions. We have also been doing work on answering and creating word problems. We have been thinking about real life situations where we use decimals, fractions and percentages and creating questions based around that.
We have completed some excellent reports in Gaelic this week. They are focused on the effects of smoking. We found information from watching videos and learned a lot of new Gaelic vocabulary to use in our reports.
In PE we have been playing handball. We have been learning a lot about team work and tactics. We have been working on improving our throwing and catching.
Skills for life, work and creativity
Today, we had a display of what we have been working on during our Friday sessions. We had an erupting volcano, an art exhibition, a clay sculpture about climate change, some comics, a manga inspired art work, a healthy eating menu and the runners from running club telling us about how they are working towards representing us at the cross country running festival next month.
