C5V – Prògram airson BeeBots

Tha Clas 5V ag ionnsachadh codadh. An-diugh bha sinn a’ cruthachadh prògram airson na BeeBots. Dh’fheumadh na robots siubhal air na bùird agus chan fhaodadh iad tuiteam air an làr. Rinn sinn slighe le cnaip-starra agus bha e doirbh tomhais càite an rachadh an robot.

Ag ionnsachadh tro gheamannan

Le bhith a’ coimhead air faclan gu tric, tha e a’ fàs nas fhasa dhuinn an leughadh agus an sgrìobhadh.  Tha sinn air a bhith ag ionnsachadh cuid de na faclan cumanta le bhith a’ cluich a’ gheama ‘Cairt mu dheireadh!’, a tha coltach ris a’ gheama ‘Uno!’.

A’ Ghealach – C2F

An-diugh, bha sinn ag ionnsachadh mu dheidhinn pàtrain na gealaich.

An toiseach, choimhead sinn air mìosachan na gealaich agus choimhead sinn air mar a tha a cruth ag atharrachadh tron mhìos.

An uairsin, chleachd sinn briosgaidean airson a diofar cruthan a shealltainn :

gealach ùr, gealach chorranach, leth-ghealach agus gealach chrotach

San fheasgar, airson an cànan a dh’ionnsaich sinn a dhàighneachadh, bha sinn a’ measgachadh flùr agus peant còmhla gus an robh e tiugh agus steigeach. An uair sin, dh’obraich sinn ann am buidhnean airson dealbhan mòra den ghealach a chruthachadh.

C6 – Litreachadh

Tha Clas 6 air a bhith trang an-diugh anns an leasan litreachaidh aca. Tha iad air taghadh còig gu deich faclan nach bidh iad a’ faighinn ceart anns an sgrìobhadh aca is gan ionnsachadh.  Tha geamannan spòrsail againn airson ar cuid fhaclan ionnsachadh is an cuimhneachadh.  Ma dh’fhaodte gun cuidich sibh leinn le ar faclan aig an taigh?

 

C2T – Matamataig

Rinn sinn matamataig a-muigh. Bha sinn a’ dèanamh ath-sgrùdadh air cur ris agus thoir air falbh le àireamhan suas gu 100. Bha sinn a’ cunntadh ann an deichean (10) cuideachd.

   

Thòisich sinn air bloighean. Dh’ionnsaich sinn mu chumaidhean slàn, lethan ( ½ ) agus cairtealan ( ¼ ). Rinn sinn piotsa blasta!

        

C4H Art and Maths

Art

Today in art we were making the feathers for our birds of paradise. We had made a lot of detailed designs on pieces of paper using pastels, paint, ink and scratch art and they were very colourful. This week we had to cut feathers out of our coloured paper.

Maths

We were learning about Grid References so that we can read maps! We learned that you have to read along the corridor and up the stairs!

We have just started to learn about fractions and to practise, we were colouring in a given amount and writing a fraction to match an amount. We are learning to read and write fractions. The number on the bottom of a fraction is called the denominator and it tells you how many equal parts the thing has been divided in to. The number on the top of the fraction is called the numerator and it tells us how many of the equal parts we have.

Fresh Start Module 18

After reading Beep (Module 18) this week the Fresh Start group have been arguing the case for and against school uniform and considering whether dentention is a good deterrant for lateness.  What do you think?
