C3N – Seachdain gu math goirid!

Tha sinn an dòchas gun robh deagh dheireadh sheachdain agaibh uile.  Thill na tidsearan làn neart Dimàirt agus bha sinn air ar dòigh a’ chlann fhaicinn air ais Diciadain.  Leis a sin, ‘s e seachdain gu math goirid a tha air a bhith ann, ach air leth trang, cuideachd.

Lean sinn oirnn le ar n-obair air a bhith a’ faighinn a-mach mu ciamar a bhios sgrìobhadairean a’ cruthachadh caractaran agus suidheachaidhean.  Tha sinn air a bhith ag èisteachd ri sgeulachd ‘Righ Eachainn’ air clàr.

Seo a shaoil feadhainn de Sgoilearan 3N mu Rìgh Eachainn:

“Cha robh Rìgh Eachann ag iarraidh gum biodh cluasan eich air.  Bha e a’ smaoineachadh gum biodh daoine a’ gàireachdainn air.”

“Bhiodh Rìgh Eachann a’ cumail nan cluasan aige am falach fo ad agus crùn.  Bhiodh e a’ fàs gu math crosta nam faiceadh duine sam bith a chluasan, ach am barbair aige.”

“’S e caractar còir agus grot a tha ann an Rìgh Eachann.    Uaireannan bidh a’ dèanamh cus gearain ach bha sinn a’ faireachdainn duilich air a shon cuideachd.”

Crùn Rìgh Eachainn

Tha sinn air a bhith a’ cruthachadh ‘Crùn Righ Eachainn’ agus seo dealbh de aon chrùn.  Chan eil sinn deiseil fhathast oir feumaidh a h-uile crùn cluasan cuideachd! Cuiridh sinn dealbhan a bharrachd an seo airson sealltainn dhuibh nuair a tha sinn deiseil.

Pròiseact C2F – 10.05.18

An-diugh, bha sinn ag ionnsachadh mu dheidhinn diofar seòrsaichean lùths agus càite an lorg sinn iad.

Seo na diofar seòrsaichean a dh’ionnsaich sinn:

teasach
solais
fuaim
lastaig
cineatagach
electrigeach
ceimeagach
niùclasach

An uair sin, rinn sinn probhailean saidheans airson fhaicinn mar a tha diofar seòrsaichean lùths ag obair.

Lùths cineatagach

Rinn sinn rocaid a’ cleachdadh balùn agus sreang. Cuideachd, chruthaich sinn tailm a-mach à bann rubair agus maidean.

Lùths fuaim

Bha sinn a’ feuchainn ris an rus a’ ghluasad le diofar fuaimean gus am faiceadh sinn lùths fuaim ag obair. Dh’aontaich sinn gur e na panaichean an rud a bha ag obair as fheàrr, ach dh’fheuch sinn cuideachd le botalan, ar làmhan agus ar guthan.

C7 – Expressive Arts

Topic: WORLD of WORK

In Art and Design P7s have been looking at the weaving industry in Scotland.

Pupils have looked at a basic history of weave and the weaving process.  P7s have also had great fun making their own weaves! There have been some fantastic results! Visit our blog next week to see some of our finished products!

 1. Firstly pupils learned about looms and how to make their own loom using recycled materials.

2. Then pupils have experimented with different yarns and wools exploring how these can affect the look and texture of a weave.

3. Pupils have also experimented with recycled fabrics and tassel techniques.

4. Pupils have developed skills in the visual element of pattern and colour.

Responses from P7 Pupils

‘I really enjoyed it! I have learnt a bit about a history of weave and it is fun!’

‘During the project I have started to practise my own weaves at home aswell!’
