C1P 8.10.21

An t-seachdain ann an C1P,  thòisich sinn an leabhar ùr againn ‘Na Trì Muc Beaga’.  Tha a’ chlas gu math eòlach air na caractaran anns an sgeulachd a-nise.

Mar phàirt de Ionnsachadh a-Muigh, thog iad taighean anns an raon-chluiche agus chaidh an togail anns a’ chlas cuideachd le maidean, fodar agus bricichean.

Nach math a tha iad!

In C1P this week we started our new text ‘Na Trì Muc Beaga’.  The class is now very familiar with the characters and the story.  As part of our Outdoor Learning we built houses in the playground.  Houses were built in the classroom too using straw (fodar), sticks (maidean) and bricks (bricichean).

C1P 24.09.21

An t-seachdain ann am matamataig bha sinn a’ cunntadh air adhart agus air ais gu 10 agus a’ cunntadh 10 rudan.

Nas inntinniche buileach, chaidh sinn air cuairt an t-seachdain!  Airson ionnsachadh a-muigh, fhuair sinn cothrom a bhith a-muigh!  Tha sinn air a bhith ag ionnsachadh mun choimhearsnachd againn agus Diardaoin, chaidh sinn air cuairt gu Leith Walk far am faca sinn iomadh rud a chòrd ruinn – bùth suiteis, tractor dearg, buth piotsa agus dealbh de chù air a’ bhalla!

Thog sinn dealbhan den a h-uile rud, seall orra, nach sgoinneil a’ chuairt againn!

An rud eile a chòrd ruinn glan b’ e a’ phupaid aig a’ Bh-uas Watson.  Tha òran sgoinneil aice mu Chòig Muncaidhean Bheaga agus Crogall Mòr mosach!  Is dòcha gun seall mi dhut e ma tha thu a’ faighneachd orm gu snog.

This week in mathematics we have been counting backwards and forwards to ten and counting out ten things.

Most interesting of all, we went on a trip this week!  For our Outdoor Learning this week we managed to get out of the school.  We have been learning all about our community and on Thursday we took a trip to Leith Walk to see our community.  We saw many interesting things that we enjoyed such as a sweetie shop, a red tractor, a pizza shop and a painting of a dog on a wall!  We took photographs of it all, take a look at our trip, it was fabulous!

The other thing that we really enjoyed this week was Mrs Watson’s puppet.  She has a great song about Còig Mucaidhean Beaga (five little monkeys) and a Crogall Mòr (a big crocodile) perhaps if you ask nicely I’ll perform it for you.

Clas 1 P

An t-seachdain tha sinn air a bhith a’ leughadh an sgeulachd ‘An Tuineap Mòr’, chòrd e ruinn nuair a chaidh e ‘POP’!  Dh’ionnsaich sinn sanas airson gach caractar, feuchaidh an sealltainn aig an taigh cuideachd.

Ann am matamataig bha sinn ag ionnsachadh làithean na seachdaine le òran air Youtube, feuchaibh èisteachd ris aig an taigh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e10vDyGtWg0

An t-seachdain chaidh sinn a-mach dhan raon-chluiche far an robh sinn a’ sireadh rudan le diofar phàtrain, cuid a bha mìn is cuid a bha garbh.  Bha cuid de rudan nas cruaidhe na rudan eile.  Coimhead air an suathain a rinn sinn, nach eil iad snog!

This week we have been reading the story ‘An Tuineap Mòr’, our favourite bit is when the turnip goes ‘POP’!  We learnt a sign for each of the 5 characters, try and show these at home.

In mathematics this week we have been learning the days of the week in Gaelic, try and watch this video at home too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e10vDyGtWg0

This week we went out to the big ones play ground and we were looking for different patterns, we found things that were rough and we found things that were smooth, some were softer and some were harder than others.  Take a peek at our wonderful rubbings!

a’ Chiad Bhlog C1P

Ann an clas 1 Purpaidh an t-seachdain tha sinn air a bhith ag ionnsachadh ma dheidhinn dathan!  Chruthaich sinn bogha-froise mòr taobh a-muigh a’ chlas.  Seall cho àlainn is a tha e!  Tha sinn air a bhith a’ leughadh an leabhar ‘Wow thuirt a’ chailleach-oidhche’ anns a bheil tòrr dhathan.

Bha sinn trang ann am matamataig cuideachd; a’ cunntadh, ag aithneachadh pàtrain domino agus a’ cur àiremhan air ar corragan.

This week in C1Purpaidh we have been learning our colours in Gaelic.  We created a big rainbow, look how beautiful it is.  We have been reading the story ‘Wow thuirt a’ chailleach-oidhche’ which includes lots of different colours.

In maths we have been busy; doing lots of counting, recognising domino patters and making numbers on our fingers.
